About Us

H&S Rescue, LLC. is comprised of Southern California Firefighters with decades of technical rescue and firefighting instruction experience. Their passion for Urban Search and Rescue is evident from our instructor’s knowledge and comfort with rescue principles to their infectious enthusiasm for the subject matter.

Some of the disciplines that H&S Rescue has instructed are; high angle rope rescue, low angle rope rescue, confined space rescue, trench rescue, advanced rope rescue, emergency building shoring, lifting moving and stabilizing heavy objects, urban search and rescue medical considerations and ladder rescue systems. Each of the founding members of H&S Rescue have emergency medical training and are extensively involved with their individual fire departments.

Training Philosophy

Our philosophy of instruction has been developed over the last fifteen, plus years. We create open lines of communication in a comfortable learning environment, promoting an exchange of information. We place emphasis not only on the “how” of rescue, but the “why.” We pride ourselves on relating the information in a user friendly way to maximize retention of the curriculum. This philosophy of instruction demonstrates H&S Rescue is committed to the concept that, “the difference is in the training.”
